Four people died and almostseven injured in three different blasts that took place in Kathmandu, thecapital city of Nepal on Sunday.
Improvised or crude explosive devicesare suspected to have been used in the blasts, police said.
Following the explosion, theblast sites and surrounding areas were immediately shut down by the police andthe injured were taken to the hospital.
Police suspect the involvementof Maoist splinter groups after pamphlets were found nearby where one of the explosionstook place. Security personnel were put on high alert and many were guardingthe main areas of Kathmandu.
The same alleged group hascarried out an explosion in February which killed one person in Nepal'scapital.
