NSE signs post-trade tech deal with Nasdaq

Nasdaq has formally signed a post-trade and strategic partnership agreement to supply a tailored real time clearing, risk management and settlement technology with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the third largest in the world in terms of number of trades in equity shares in 2017.

In addition to the above mentioned agreement, Nasdaq has also signed a contract with National Stock Exchange of India Limited to utilise its capacity in implementations and project augmentation globally.

Further, the two signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore innovations in products, technology and processes, and to discover business opportunities across listings, corporate and market services.

The new post-trade technology will provide a state-of-the-art architecture using the Nasdaq Financial Framework, which will increase efficiency and reduce risks in the post-trade area.
