Despite scoring a total of 315 runs against Bangladesh, Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Pakistan side were out the ICC Cricket World Cup race as they have failed to restrict Bangladesh to 7 runs to outclass New Zealand on the points table and secure their spot in the semi-finals.
Evenif they win on Friday, Pakistan will finish with the same number of points asNew Zealand but will have to head home as a result of their lower run-rate.
