The sweet affair between Spanish Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal and the clay court continues as he went on to clinch his 11th French Open (Roland Garros) title of his career today.
Rafael Nadal proved that he still rules the clay court today again as he demolished Austrian Dominic Thiem in straight sets today. Nadal won the match 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
The 32-year old now has 17 Grand Slam titles in total and has now closed the gap marginally behind his great rival Roger Federar, who has 20 titles.
Following the win, Rafael Nadal said "It's really incredible. I played a great match against a great player. I had tough moment in the third set with cramps in my hand. I was very scared but that's sport – it was very humid. To win 11 times here – it's fantastic and not something I ever dreamed of."
