During the match, Kaur took the stunning catch at the long-on boundary to dismiss West Indies captain Stafaine Taylor. She plucked the ball out of thin air with a perfect jump to dismiss Taylor for 94.

Winning the toss, Stafaine Taylor decided to bat firstand the WI team scored 225/7 in the stipulated 50-over. However, the Indianside was bowled out for 224 in the last ball of the match.
