In the Asian Games at Indonesia, wrestlers and shooters will carry India's medal hopes today again as well on Day 3 of the events.

India currently has 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze in its kitty. Both the Golds came in Wrestling, first was won by Bajrang Punia and the other was bagged by Vinesh Phogat on Monday.

Four Indian grapplers will be seen in action today too. Divya Kakran, Kiran, Gyanender and Manish will vie for glory in their respective weight categories.

India's other three medals – 2 Silver and 1 Bronze – have come in Shooting, and the Indian shooters will look to add to the tally today.

Sanjeev Rajput and Akhil Sheoran will figure in the Men's 50-metres Rifle 3 Positions event, with Abhishek Verma and Saurabh Chaudhary featuring in Men's 10-metre Air Pistol category.

Shreyasi Singh and Lakshay will aim for Gold in the Mixed Team Trap event.

Archery events are also beginning today. Deepika Kumari, Promila Daimary, Ankita Bhakat and Laxmirani Manjhi will be seen in action in Women's Recurve, with Atanu Das, Sukhchain Singh, Jagdish Choudhary and Viswash figuring in the Men's section.

In Women's Hockey, India will take on Kazakhstan in their second Group-B match. The Indian eves had defeated hosts Indonesia, 8-0 in the opener.

In Wushu, three Indians will look to book semi-final berths. Santosh Kumar, Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh and Pardeep Kumar will play their respective quarterfinal matches.

Taewando, Tennis, Swimming, Rowing, Kabaddi and Volleyball are also among the events which will witness the Indian participation today.

With 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze, India is currently eighth in the medals tally. China continues to be at the top, with Japan second and South Korea third.
