The accident had killed a young man on spot. The deceased had been identified as Ramesh Munda, a resident of Jugalati.
According to sources, the accident took place when Ramesh Munda was returning home on Sunday night.
It has been reported that Munda lost his balance while taking a turn at night due to darkness and hit in a nearby concrete post.
The scooter in the accident bore the registration number AS 05 M 0885.
