An adult rhino was killed and its horn taken away by poachers in the Kaziranga National Park. The incident took place at Kohora range of the national park.
The carcass of the rhino with its horn missing was found by forests guards on Monday.
Reports suggested that the rhino has been killed a month ago. The forests guards also recovered five empty cartridges of .303 rifle from the spot.
