Voter ‘Chops Off Finger’ After voting for BJP

In a shocking incident, a Dalit voter in Bulandshahr constituency chopped off his finger after he accidentally pressed the button of the BJP symbol on the EVM instead of the BSP at the polling booth during the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

The man identified as Pawan Kumar, 25, is a resident of Abdullapur Hulasan village in Shikarpur area and he is said to have used a sickle to chop off his finger.

Sources revealled that Kumar had gone to vote with an intention to vote in favour of the SP-BSP-RLD alliance candidate Yogesh Verma but instead, he voted for the sitting MP and BJP candidate Bhola Singh by mistake. Kumar being  frustrated by his error, returned home and chopped off his finger with a chopper. The man later released a video to regret his mistake and since then it is going viral on social media.
