The Unnao rape survivor accident case is being investigated by the CBI and today the Supreme Court has ordered the probe to be completed within a span of seven days.

The court said that it will transfer four cases linked to the rape of the teenager from Lucknow to Delhi.

The top court also asked the "responsible" CBI officer to appear before it and give details on the status of rape case and the rape survivor's car crash. The CBI is now investigating both the cases.

A bench, headed by Chief Justice Gogoi also refused a request of the centre's lawyer Tushar Mehta, appearing for the CBI, that the matter be pushed to Friday, as the officers probing the Unnao cases were out of Delhi.

On the other hand, BJP has expelled Uttar Pradesh MLA Kuldeep Sengar on Thursday.

Sengar had been a four-time jailed lawmaker, who has been accused of raping the teenager and also alleged of being involved in concocting the accident which left the girl critically injured.

Almost two weeks before the accident, the rape survivor wrote to the Chief Justice of India stating that her as well as her family's life is being threatened.
