Telegu TV actor Sravani Kondapalli has allegedly died by suicide at the age of 26 on Tuesday night. She was found dead in her Hyderabad home.
Her family however alleged that a man named Deveraj Reddy, whom she met on Tiktok was allegedly harassing and blackmailing her for money, for which she took the extreme step.
"My sister told me that she is under pressure as he was blackmailing her. She said that she has a shooting to attend, but she soon took this extreme decision," said Sravani's brother Shiva, alleging harassment.
Her brother, Shiva also said that Deveraj Reddy threatened to leak some videos of her.
"A case has been registered against one man for alleged harassment and an investigation is underway," said an inspector after the family filed a case of harassment against Deveraj Reddy.
Sravani's body has been now been shifted to Osmani General Hospital for post mortem.
Sravani has been a part of the Telegu TV industry for eight years. She has worked in Telegu daily soaps like Manasu Mamatha and Mounaragam.
