In a bid to increase women employees in the Railways, Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said that 50 percent reservation will be given to women in recruitment of Railway Protection Force (RPF)
Inaugurating various rail projects in Bihar's capital Patna today, Goyal said about ten thousand jobs will be created in the RPF.
The recruitment process will be fully computerized to maintain transparency. CCTV cameras will be installed at six thousand stations and important trains, Goyal informed.
"In upcoming recruitment of 9500-10000 RPF jawans, there will be a 50% reservation for women and 13,000 jobs are also coming up in Railways in which there will be a computer-based test, no interviews," Piyush Goyal was quoted as saying in a tweet posted by news agency ANI.
The Railway Minister also handed over the papers related to land of Patna – Digha rail section to Bihar government.
