The Ram Mandir Trust, set up on the Supreme Court's directions to manage the construction of a temple for Lord Ram in Ayodhya, will meet on Saturday.
It is noteworthy that this is the trust's first formal meeting in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya and all members are expected to fix a possible date for beginning of temple construction and decide on the design of the temple. Furthermore, a time frame for the temple construction is also expected to be discussed.
The temple's construction has delayed due to the outbreak of the ongoing pandemic.
The land that will house the 67-acre temple complex in Ayodhya has been levelled to get it set for the actual construction.
During the tenure of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, development projects worth crores have been sanctioned for Ayodhya and other religious landmarks.
