RaGa files nominations for Wayanad today

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has filed his nomination papers today for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra  is by his side accompanying him during the process.

It may be noted that Wayanad is the second seat Rahul is contesting from, the first being his stronghold Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.

This move of the Congress chief has led BJP to accuse him of "running Away" due to unsure prospects in Amethi.

However, reacting to speculations, Rahul stated that his decision to contest from Wayanad comes because "South India feels hostility from Narendra Modi; I wanted to send message that I am standing with you."
