A young girl reportedly from Mizoram was found dead in an apartment in Gujarat's Surat.
The girl has been identified as one Asha Sarki, a resident of Suman Anand Apartment in Magdalla area of the city.
As per a report, she was unwell since Sunday. Her acquaintance tried to contact her but got no response.
Later, when the acquaintance reached the apartment, Sarki did not open the door.
Police was called later and her body was found.
Authorities say her body is a day or two old and as the door was locked, no one could have entered the apartment.
According to state media, Sakri was earlier working in a saloon but she did not have any job at present. Police are working to find out people whom she was in regular touch with.
The cause of her death remains unclear. More details awaited.
