Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah Detained

PDP chief and former CMMehbooba Mufti has reportedly been taken into custody and shifted to a guesthouse in Srinagar from her residence where she was under house arrest. 

J&K People's Conference leaders Sajjad Lone and Imran Ansari have also been arrested. Some more arrests have been made, the officials said.

The heavyweight leaders have been arrested after the Upper House today abolished the Article 370 and 35 A.

In view to control the law and order and maintain peace in the Valley, Centre directed security forces to arrest former J&K Chief Ministers.
