Mamata-led TMC Reveals Rajya Sabha Nominees Including Renowned Journalist Sagarika Ghose

On Sunday, the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress unveiled four nominees for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election. The party has chosen senior journalist Sagarika Ghose, Sushmita Dev, Md Nadimul Haque, and Mamata Bala Thakur to represent it in the upper house of parliament.

Sagarika Ghose's political career begins here. Ghose is a well-known journalist, columnist, and outspoken critic of Modi's government and policies.

She is well-known for her significant journalism experience, having worked for almost 30 years.

Ghose studied at St. Stephen's College in New Delhi before receiving a Rhodes scholarship to Oxford University. She has worked in both print and broadcast media, covering a wide range of topics and concerns through her writing and reporting.

She is the wife of Rajdeep Sardesai, a noted journalist and author.
