A day after the Congresssignaled at forming a stable government in Maharashtra, the Congress WorkingCommittee (CWC) met at party supremo Sonia Gandhi's home on Thursday. The finaltalks may take place in Mumbai regarding the alliance.
Maharashtra Congress chiefBalasaheb Thorat on Thursday said, "There are many points on which we needclarification if we have to run a government together for five years.Discussions are progressing. We will go to Mumbai today." Also, following theCWC meeting Congress leader KC Venugopal said, "I think tomorrow we willprobably have a decision in Mumbai."

According to reports,Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was advised to go ahead with the alliance despite her reservations.
