In arecent development in the Karnataka political crisis, the Governor of the StateVajubhai Vala has written a letter to Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and askedhim to prove majority on the floor of the assembly by 1:30 pm on Friday.
Earlier,the Karnataka assembly witnessed high drama after the Speaker ignored a messagefrom the Governor. The ruling Congress-JD(S) coalition also accused the BJP ofkidnapping its MLAs.
Meanwhile,Karnataka BJP Chief BS Yeddyurappa told ANI, "We are demanding voting on themotion but the Chief Minister is reluctant to take it up as he has confirmedhimself that he has lost confidence of the house and the people. Everybodyknows Congress-JD(S) have only 98 MLAs, we have 105."
Onthe other hand, BJP MLAs earlier said that they would sit on an overnight 'dharna'in the house demanding consideration of floor test today.
