Jaganmohan Reddy to get 5 Deputy CM

AndhraPradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will have a record five Deputy ChiefMinisters in one go.

In a meetingon Friday morning, Jaganmohan Reddy told his party lawmakers that he would havefive deputies and a full 25-member cabinet which would represent aspirations ofall communities. The new ministers will be sworn-in on Saturday.

Leader ofJagan Reddy's YSR Congress said that the deputy chief ministers will representScheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, minorities and the Kapucommunities.

Jagan Reddyreportedly told his legislators that the Cabinet would predominantly comprisemembers from the weaker sections contrary to the expectations that the Reddycommunity would get a lion's share. He further informed that the cabinet wouldbe reconstituted after a mid-term review of the government's performance.

There weretwo deputy chief ministers in the N Chandrababu Naidu-led government, one eachfrom the Kapu and backward classes communities.

Reddy ledhis party to a huge victory in the recent state and national elections inAndhra Pradesh.

The YSRCongress won 151 of the 175 seats in the state assembly wiping out Naidu'sTelugu Desam Party. YSR Congress also won 22 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats.
