India’s highest tricolor unfurled in Mumbai

India's highest ever tricolor was unfurled by Union Minister of Minorities Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on the rooftop of Haj House in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The national flag, which was installed on the terrace of Haj house, is believed to be the highest flag to be installed on any building in India. The size of the flag is 20 feet by 30 feet which is erected at a height of 20 meter.

Describing the day as 'historic', Naqvi said, "Today, we have unfurled the tallest national flag on any Indian building. This will also enhance the pride of Mumbai and its neighboring regions."

Recently on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, the third tallest national flagpole with 319.5 ft height and with a flag of 120×80 feet dimension was hosted by Assam Chief Minister at Gandhi Mandap of Sarania Hills in Guwahati.
