Gujarat Ports On Alert As Pak Commandos May Enter Indian Waters

After receiving inputs thatPakistani commandos are likely to infiltrate into Indian Territory through theKutch area, all ports in Gujarat have been put on high alert. Officials saidthat inputs have been received about the Pakistani commandos to create communaldisturbance or terrorist attack in Gujarat.

According to a statement issuedby Adani Ports and SEZ, "Inputs had been received from coast guard station thatPakistan-trained commandos have entered the Gulf of Kutch through the HaramiNala creek area and they are believed to be trained with underwater attacks."

The Adani statement further saidthat after receiving the inputs, they directed to take utmost measures ofsecurity in order to prevent any untoward incident in the state of Gujarat. It hasalso been advised that all ships at Mundra Port to take utmost securitymeasures and maintain a vigilant watch.

The port authorities have askedfor enhanced security measures which include highest state of readiness andvigilance, deployment of maximum possible assets and personnel to plugvulnerable areas, tracking suspicious individuals or boats near the coast,patrolling along the coast ad checking of all vehicles in offices or homesnearby.

Meanwhile, Pakistan RailwaysMinister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday predicted that a full-blown warbetween India and Pakistan is likely to occur in the next month or in October.

Rashid, however, claimed thatdecisive time for Kashmir's struggle has come and this is going to be the lastwar between both the countries.

Rashid has made the remark, twodays after Pak PM Imran Khan threatened India of a nuclear war.
