The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against the Principal of Pune's National Defence Academy (NDA) Om Prakash Shukla, a Professor and two Associate Professors among others in selection and appointment of the institute's faculty.
It has been alleged that certain faculty members entered into a conspiracy with officials, including those of UPSC and Defence Ministry, and were appointed as faculty members without possessing the mandatory experience in teaching or research.
Officials also conducted searches at the NDA premises on June 06 including office and residence of the accused. Numerous documents were recovered during the search.
