Not being able to play PUBG, a 21-year-old student allegedly committed suicide at Nadia in West Bengal.

Identified as Pritam Halder, an ITI student, was reportedly found hanging in his residence at Purba Lalpur in Chakdaha police station area.

Reports quoted the deceased's mother as saying, "When I went to call him for lunch, his room was locked from inside. After repeated banging when he did not open the door, I called the neighbours. They broke into the room and found him hanging from the ceiling fan."

She further said, "He would play it at night. I think he died by suicide as he was not being able to play PUBG."

The Police reportedly have registered a case of unnatural death.

It must be mentioned that PUBG, along with a host of other applications, was recently banned by the Centre on the grounds of it being a threat to India's national security.
