Barkha & 200 Jurnos lost jobs, Tiranga TV shut down

Noted Journalist Barkha Dutta and 200 of her colleagues lostheir jobs as the Tiranga TV was closed down by its promoter Kapil Sibal.

In a series of Tweets, Barkha alleged that Kapil Sibal backtracked from his commitment and his wife made abusive remarks.

Her tweets brought jeers from Twitterati as she was roasted for joining the channel.  Here are a series of tweets by Barkha Dutta.

Some of the Twitterati sympathised with her but majority pointed out that Kapil Sibal wanted the Channel to build the image of Rahul Gandhi and after the electoral rout, Mr Sibal wanted to close the channel as he had realized that it would be a big elephant.
