However, as speculations rose, the actor again tweeted, "Grateful for all the interest shown in my previous tweet but just clarifying in light of some wild speculation, I am not contesting elections."
The conversation, aired on Wednesday after the third round of voting for the national election, took place at PM Modi's 7, Lok Kalyan Marg residence in Delhi.

The PM during his interview also made a mention of Assam's Gamusa saying that it works as his aid during a headache or when he experiences pain in his legs as he ties the Gamusa on that part to get relief.
Speaking of his short sleep duration of 3.5 to 4 hours a day, the BJP leader stated that former American President Barack Obama expresses concerns about his sleep every time they meet.
Wittily taking a jibe at TMC leader Mamata Banerjee, PM Modi went on to tell the Bollywood star that once "Mamata didi" found out Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent him new types of sweets every year, after which she also started sending him sweets once or twice a year.
