In a horrific incident, a girl allegedly threw acid on a boy after he refused to marry her. The incident took place in the Jeevangarh area in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
"Theboy was having a love affair with the accused girl for the last six months.Since last month, he had been ignoring the girl and that is why she attackedhim with acid," said a top UP Police officer.
Meanwhile, the UP Police after registering a case under section 326-A of IPC arrested the accused girl.
Reportssuggested that the eyes of the boy were affected and a team of doctors attendedto him, informed a doctor.
