Two Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots died after an IAF fighter jet (MiG-21) crashed in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place near an open field in Garend Kalaan village. Immediately after the crash, the jet caught fire, said officials adding, "The identities of the deceased could not be confirmed immediately." Official further said, "IAF's technical team will arrive and ascertain facts."
