The man-elephant conflict refuses to die down in Udalguri district. In yet another incident, Joichan Kujur, a resident of Nonoipara tea garden near Indo-Bhutan border was trampled to death by wild elephants.
The villagers have slammed the careless attitude of the district administration and the forest department in tackling the menace.
