Responding to the devastation caused by the ongoing Assam floods, CM of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb twitted on Sunday saying that he was "deeply saddened by the loss of lives in Assam due to severe flood". He also added in his tweet that Tripura stands with the people of Assam in these difficult times, and that he would pray to Goddess Kamakhya so that the situation returns to normalcy.
Deb tweeted, "Deeply saddened by the loss of lives in Assam due to severe flood.Tripura stands beside the people of Assam at this difficult time. I pray to Maa Kamakhya so that the situation becomes normal soon. @sarbanandsonwal @himantabiswa @CMOfficeAssam @mygovassam."
CM of Assam, later, thanked Deb for showing solidarity with the people of Assam in this hour of crisis. Sonowal tweeted, "hank you Tripura CM @BjpBiplab ji for your concern and support in a challenging period for Assam."
