Unidentified body of an elderly man was recovered near Boragaon in the city. The body was found lying in a drain near Rahul weighbridge in Boragaon area. Police reached the spot to inspect after locals informed them about the body.
"We are investigating the case. The deceased was wearing black t-shirt and red pant. There was no paper or documents recovered from the possession of the deceased," said a police official.
The official further said whether it was a case of murder would be established only after the autopsy is done. However, locals suspected that speedy vehicles might have hit him in the highway.
