Twoincluding a toddler and a woman went missing after a boat capsized in Barpaniriver in Kachua area under Nagaon district on Tuesday evening. However, elevenothers were rescued by the locals following the incident.
The womanand the toddler were identified as Sufia Khatun (35) and Yasmina Khatun (3). Asper the reports, they have come from Dimapur to Nagaon to appear in the hearingof NRC claims and objection.
However,the search and rescue operation for the missing persons is still under way.
