Another doctor at Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH) tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. The doctor has been identified as Himmat Rathore.
A health worker has also been tested positive of the virus, identified as Ananda Das of Sootea, Bokajan.
According to reports, Ananda Das has returned from Chennai by train recently.
At present 32 people from Tezpur Medical College have been tested positive for coronavirus including two doctors.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 cases in Sonitpur district has risen to 304.
