The students'-teachers' in Puranigudam at Nagaon have boycotted Teachers' Day celebration and observed indefinite sit-in demonstration in protest against the teacher's attack on Wednesday by some miscreants.
The Principal of RKB Higher Secondary School and Secretary of Students'Union Body have been brutally attacked by miscreants on Wednesday.
The students and teachers have demanded that the culprits should beidentified and strict action should be taken against them and also demandedthat the Deputy Commissioner of the district and Superintendent of Policeshould visit the spot.
Moreover, police apprehended one Nurul Amin for interrogation on theNagaon Puranigudam incident. Police have interrogated on the incident that tookplace in the RKB School as it has been alleged that Amin has sent themiscreants to attack the teacher.
The school authorities have alleged that the team of miscreants havecome in a BMW car and attacked the Principal of the school Sandhya Baruah andGeneral Secretary of Students' Union Pulak Borah who was severely injured.
