Guwahati has become a hub for all the illegal activities of late. Special Task Force (STF) has been deployed to conduct serial operations against gambling pockets in the city.
Two gamblers, Biplab Dey and Nurul Islam have been arrested from Bamunimaidan and Hatigaon on Tuesday.
More than 10 thousand rupees, notepads, slips and mobiles have been confiscated from the two.
In the present month of May, 20 people have been arrested by the police based on two complaints and has seized more than one lakh rupees.
The investigations will continue in the entire city.
