Rudraveerya Sena, a right-winged youth organization having its headquarters in Guwahati, known for their active social work, and rallies, has formed its unit in six districts of Assam.
The new units were opened in Nalbari, Dibrugarh, Sonitpur, Morigaon, Nagaon and Sivasagar. The committees for the respective district units will soon be constituted, and the units are currently overlooked by the Central Committee members acting as in-charges, the organization said.
“We are fully committed to make a change in society, and expand our foothold to work effectively for our cause and ideology,” said Tapobrat Narayan Deb, President (Central) of Rudraveerya Sena.
Earlier on January 21, 2024, a day before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the new Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Rudraveerya Sena along with Sanatan Yuva Manch organized a bike and car rally, which had more than 25,000 people in attendance. The right-wing group claimed that it was by far the biggest non-political religious youth rally in Assam ever.
Further, there have been reports on Rudraveerya Sena entering active politics by associating with a political party soon, but no official statement on that front has been released by the leaders yet.
