Pratidin Time Impact | Investigation ordered upon bogus educational institutions
Updated on

After several reports aired in Pratidin Time, Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (M) Virendra Mittal has announced proper investigation on bogus educational institutions in the city.

There are several schools in Guwahati who claim to follow CBSE Board but are not actually affiliated to CBSE in any way. These types of bogus educational institutions have been offering fake integrated courses to students in the city since many years.

The institutions come up with fancy buildings, charge a large sum of money, make unfair promises and false claims. Except this, the institutions' are issuing digital – printed advertisements and hoardings for business purpose.

On the other hand, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) directed the CBSE affiliated schools not to indulge in any commercial activity and barred them from selling books and uniform on their premises.

Recently, Pratidin Time has exposed the bogus educational institutions and raised questions to concern authorities that even if, the institutions are actually affiliated to CBSE, then how can the institutions indulge in commercial activities?
