One dead in Khetri accident

A man died at the Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) on Thursday after sustaining critical injuries in an accident that took place at Kendubam area in Khetri. The deceased has been identified as Janardan Sharma.

Accordingto reports, the vehicle (Swift Dzire) they were travelling in hit into a truck,which was parked near the NH 37. Sharma was a resident of Lakhimpur district.

Hisco-passenger, identified as Jayanta Das, also sustained serious injuries andhas been admitted to a hospital. Das hails from Mangaldoi.
