Nine militants sent to NIA custody

Hizbul Mujahideen militant Kamruz Zaman along with eight other militants have been sent to the custody of National Investigation Agency (NIA).

The militants have been sent from Nagaon jail, where there were lodged till now.

Along with Kamruz, the other militants to be sent to NIA custody are Shahnawaz alam, Omar Farooq, Saiful Islam, Baharul Islam, Jaynal Uddin, Riyaz Uddin, Saidul Alam and Abhimanyu Chauhan.

The above mentioned nine militants were brought before the NIA court in Guwahati
