Nagaland registered 23 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, taking the state's tally to 562, informed state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his twitter handle.

The minister informed that the positive cases have been detected of the 411 samples that were tested on Friday.
Phom in his tweet wrote, "Out of 411 samples tested, 23 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 21 in Peren & 2 in Kohima."
