Modi’s birthday : BJP Assam to observe ‘Seva Saptah’

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  Assam state committee will be organising a 'Seva Saptah' or Service Week on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17.

As part of the Seva Saptah, party leaders and workers will be visiting slums and villages to organise health camps and other similar services aimed at benefiting the poor and the deprived.

During the Seva Saptah, Party workers will also be paying tribute to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away on August 16.

PM Narendra Modi himself will spend his birthday in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency.

Narendra Modi will celebrate his 68th birthday in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi. The preparations for his visit are currently underway in the town. The prime minister will spend the day with children of a primary school aided by a non-profit organisation.
