Kanchenjunga Express derails at Dima Hasao

The Sealdah-Agartala Kanchenjunga Express  derailed at Dima Hasao between Phaiding  and Dauthuja on monday . According to reports there have been no reports of causalities so far. A medical team and senior Railway Officials arrived at the spot after the incident.

It is to be mentioned that the railway track was constructed with a whooping Rs 2500 crore but the locals have alleged that the construction was not up to the mark that has lead to a series a rail derailments in the area.

A senior Railway official of Lumding Division said that the investigation of the trail derailment issues in on.

This is the fourth rail derailment incident at Dima Hasao's Assam, Tripura link track in a week.
