Kamrup District Social Welfare LDA, Mousumi Barman has been suspended for accepting bribe on Tuesday.
As per sources, Mousumi Barman has been allegedly claiming money in the name of releasing funds for disability schemes.
Barman has reportedly demanded huge amount of money from a young adult named Rituraj Borah over phone.
Meanwhile, a complaint has been filed to the Director of Social Welfare against LDA Mousumi Barman.
