Kalakshetra gets its new secretary

The First Radio artist of Majuli, writer, Researcher Sudarshan Thakur has been appointed as the new secretary of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra on Wedesnday.

There are a good number of supporting staff for maintenance and looking after the cultural institution and its various units. At present, there is a total of 101 employees of Kalakshetra out of which 15 are on a regular basis and the rest are engaged in casual or daily wage basis.
