One minor child succumbs to Japanese Encephalitis on Tuesday at Assam Medical College and Hospital(AMCH).

The deceased girl Preeti Nayak belonged to Dholi Tea Estate at Titabor in Jorhat district.

Atleast 23 people have died so far this year. The outbreak is increasing especially across Upper Assam districts.
