Heavy Cyclonic Storm Hits Guwahati

A severe cyclonic storm-lashed Guwahati and other parts of the state on Wednesday afternoon. The storm which locally said as 'Bordoisila' experienced every year in the spring season hits several parts causing damage to many properties.

The storm damaged houses in rural areas apart from uprooting electric poles and the collapse of lifts in city buildings.
