HAILAKANDI | Clash between two groups; Curfew imposed

Tensed situation in Hailakandi town after a clash broke out between two groups.
The clash took place following the Friday prayers at the local mosque.
People hurled stones at each other and reportedly set vehicles on fire.
The clashes spread to other areas in the town.
At least 15 persons injured in the clash.
Police had to resort to lathi-charge and blank fire to control the crowd.
Meanwhile, curfew has been imposed in Hailakandi town.
