Guwahati: Constable accuses SI of physical assault

Inbizarre incident a Guwahati Police constable has lodged an FIR against his seniorcolleague, a sub-inspector (SI), accusing him of physical assault.

The trafficconstable, Sagar Phukan, has alleged that SI Amrit Singh misbehaved with himand later assaulted him. According to reports, constable Phukan was on leaveand when he resumed his duties on Wednesday, SI Singh allegedly harassed himphysically.

Meanwhile,top Guwahati police sources revealed that a departmental investigation will beinitiated regarding the incident.
