Amid steep rise in overseas passenger traffic at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has embarked on the task of establishing two new aerobridges for the benefit of the travellers.

The aerobridges would be an essential facility in the wake of rise in overseas flight operations as well.

The two aerobridges marked as number 06 and 09 of which, one was opened by a Divyaang child passenger and other by an arriving lady passenger in presence of senior AAI official on Tuesday at LGBI airport.
