Amid the tough times that the citizens are undergoing during these tough times, a 93-year-old lady has brought smiles to the faces of doctors, health workers, and other people as she successfully fought with the coronavirus pandemic and discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
Guwahati's Jibini Devi Baid was admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after she was infected with the virus. "At times, we get opportunity to smile amid adversity too! Guwahati's 93-yr-old Mrs Jibini Devi Baid was discharged from GMCH after having firmly defeated #coronavirus. An incredible story also of competence of our doctors who handled this delicate case with finest precision," tweeted State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
